The figure of Socrates as a link between On Liberty and Utilitarianism

This article attempts to be a different proposal from that of the utilita-rianism norm to unify the human rights proposed in On Liberty and the utilitarian approach to the text called Utilitarianism by S. J. Mill. In this regard, we are invited to reflect from the ontological perspective of the human being that exists in Mill and which allows us to relate both proposals.
