The shape of grief: philosophical approach to the incarnation of loss

The present study seeks to describe phenomenologically the shaper that grief exhibits in the body after the loss of a loved one. For this, the hypotheses of centripetal movement oriented to self-affection and centrifugal movement alluded to the rupture of intercorporeality are considered. Both movements refer to the ambiguous sensation that the body lives in grief associated with the presence and absence of the other that is no longer there, since pain provides a state of temporary desynchronization that makes the present-past and present-future simultaneous. This brings as a consequence the contraction and extension of the body from the malleability of its own limits.
