From Synthesis To Arche-Writing. Derridian Trajectories In Kant’s Transcendental
Keywords:
Kant, Derrida, Synthesis, Arche-Writing, DifféranceAbstract
This article will analyze some thematic issues developed in the Critique of Pure Reason, using the theoretical tools of Jacques Derrida, in order to give a transcendental reading in Kant, different from the one it is usual to study and problematize. After having compared the Kantian imagination to the Derridian notion of différance, will be highlighted the paradoxical aspect of self-affection, showing that it, in its very singularity, transcends the opposition between active and passive, allowing to look at the inner meaning as a possibility of arche-writing, based on the psychic traces left in its field. Next, the reflections will move to the topic of schematism, problematizing how and to what extent the productive activity of the imagination, on the one hand, and the relationship between image and scheme, on the other, could be related to the most significant concepts of the Derridian theory of writing.
