Autonomy and democracy Corneluis Castoriadis

In this text the foundations of social autonomy as disclosed by Cornelius Castoriadis are developed, reaching to explain that much of contemporary social forms respond to a social heteronomy and the Greek legacy of Athenian democracy in ancient times, it is an overcoming of those heteronomous forms. Thus, it is revealed the relationship between democracy and autonomy as such.
